The 55th Reunion of the Class of 1948 began in Austin Friday evening at the Marriott Hotel featuring a Reception and Dinner followed by a short Program. Saturday morning we had a Brunch at the Scholz Garden after which a few of us took a tour of the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum. On Saturday evening we took a cruise on The Commodore up Lake Austin to Greenshores where we had a barbecue dinner. Including classmates, spouses, and a few alumni of other AHS classes, about 145 people attended. Everyone had a wonderful time!

The Friday evening entertainment was provided by The Classy Ladies dance group, four of whom are members of the Class of 1948 and are pictured below:

Nita Mitchell Bouldin, Betty Sue McKown Andrews,
Henry "Sonny" Johnson, and Wynelle Ray Hickerson
Other dancers are Jeanetta Kloppe and "Umpy" Bechtol. They had two beautiful costume changes as seen in the following pictures.
