Austin High School Classes of 1948-49 2005 Celebration & reunion

With approximately 180 people attending, the combined Austin High School Classes of 1948 and 1949 held a Celebration Party and Reunion on April 30, 2005 at the Senior Activity Center in Austin, Texas.  Everyone enjoyed getting reacquainted with old friends, and we had a wonderful barbecue buffet lunch catered by PoK-e-Joe's.  We have lots of pictures, so click on a link to view Portraits, Dancers, and Snapshots.

Blackstock                     Gainer                              Gault

1948 Class President David Blackstock greeted the group and introduced Master of Ceremonies Bill Gainer.  Doodie Gault Lawler rose to thank the Reunion Committee for its efforts, after which Harry Bengtson gave the Invocation.

	Floral arrangements for each table were furnished by Nelda Moore.
Barbara Davis and Joe Miles entertained with songs from the '40s and 50's.
