2006 Annual Reunion |
On April 29, 2006, the Austin High School Classes of 1948 and 1949 held their annual Reunion at the Senior Activity Center in Austin, Texas. Approximately 150 people dined on Smoky Mo's BBQ and danced to music by the Gail Gough Trio. Additional entertainment was provided by the Classy Ladies and Dazzlin' Dames dancing groups. Bill Gainer served as Emcee and introduced 1948 Class President David Blackstock who welcomed the group. Doodie Gault Lawler thanked the Reunion Committee for its hard work, and Glenn Rogers gave an Invocation.

Floral arrangements for each table were provided by Nelda Moore.
Frances Johnson Ehlers and Doodie Gault Lawler greeted 1948 attendees with an information package, and Virginia Beth Taylor Walker did the same for 1949 attendees.
